Delhi TET 2019: The submission for online application of Delhi TET 2019 will close in February. Notably, online application for the same started in January. All candidates, who wish to be teachers at primary levels and upper primary levels under the Delhi government must note that the exam for the same will be conducted in March 2019.
The exam will comprise of paper-1 & paper-2. Paper-1 will be for those who wish to be a primary teacher for classes 1-5, on the other hand, paper-2 would be attempted by candidates who want to teach in classes 6-8. It must be noted that all those who wish to appear for both the levels need to register for both exams and qualify it all the same.
All candidates who have a B.Ed. degree or an equivalent degree can apply for the exam.
There will be 150 MCQs, bearing one mark each in the paper. Candidates will be allotted 2 hours and 30 minutes to solve the paper. There will be no negative marking.
The Delhi TET is conducted under the aegis of the Delhi government to recruit candidates for the post of teachers. If one qualify the test, then they could land the position of a teacher in MCD schools in Delhi.
BARC Admit Card 2019: The admit card for Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) has been released for Orientation Course for Engineering Graduates and Science Postgraduates (OCES) and DAE Graduate Fellowship Scheme for Engineering Graduates and Physics Postgraduates (DGFS) 2019.
The admit cards are available on the official website-barconlineexam.in and can be downloaded by logging into the students’ dashboard using login id and password. The selection process is a two-step method- a screening test followed by an interview of the shortlisted candidates.
The admit card has been released for the online screening test which will be conducted in March 2019.
BARC Admit Card 2019: Steps to download
Step 1: Visit the BARC website for entrance exams- barconlineexam.in.
Step 2: Click on the category under which you have applied- to Engineering or Science.
Step 3: Click on the admit card link. You will find it at the top of the page.
Step 4: Login using your login id and password and download your admit card.
Step 5: Take a print out for future use.
There will be a separate screening test for the disciplines (nine Engineering disciplines and five Science disciplines) which were listed in the official notification released by BARC.
IB Security Assistant Admit Card Download 2019: Candidates who will be appearing for the IB Security examination for the Security Assistant/Executive Posts are advised to download to admit card ahead of the exam which is going to be held on February 17, 2019, that is, Sunday. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) had released the admit cards for the exam which will be conducted for recruitment of Security Assistant/ Executive posts.
At least 1,054 Security Assistant/ Executive vacancies were announced by the MHA in October 2018. The examination is scheduled for February 17, 2019. The exam date for centres located in Jammu and Srinagar will be announced in due course of time.
The admit cards will be available for download till the exam day i.e. February 17, 2019.
IB Security Assistant Admit Card 2019: Steps to download
Step 1: Go to the following website: https://www.recruitmentonline.in/mha13/.
Step 2: Click on the homepage, ‘Click here to View/Print Admit Card’ link.
Step 3: Enter the registration number and DoB and submit.
Step 4: Download your admit card and take a print out for future use.
The Tier I exam will be of objective type with 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Candidates would get 120 minutes to answer all the questions. There would be four sections in the question paper – General Awareness (40 questions), Quantitative Aptitude (20 questions), Logical/Analytical Ability (20 questions), and English Language (20 questions).
Candidates must note that there will be negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer. No marks would be awarded for an un-attempted question. On the basis of performance in the Tier I exam, candidates would be shortlisted for the Tier II exam.
RRB ALP CBT 2 Answer Key: The RRB ALP CBT 2 Answer Key will be released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) on February 18, Monday. The CBT 2 for RRB ALP, Technician recruitment was held on January 21, January 22, January 23, and February 8, 2019. Candidates who were eagerly waiting for provisional answer keys may keep a check the official website for the same.
The question papers, responses, and RRB ALP Answer Key for the 2nd CBT will be available from February 18, 2019, on the official website of the RRBs. The link to access the RRB ALP CBT 2 question paper, answers and RRB ALP answer key will be activated at 12 AM on February 18, 2019, and will remain active till midnight on February 20, 2019.
Candidates will be allowed to submit their objection on the provisional answer key from 10:00 AM on February 19, 2019, till 11:59 PM on February 20, 2019, which also happens to be the last date to submit an objection.
They will also have to pay a fee to submit their objection. As per the official notification released by RRBs, “The prescribed fee for raising an objection is Rs. 50 per question. In case the objection raised is found to be correct, the fee paid against such valid objections shall be refunded to the candidate. The refund will be made to the account from where the candidate has made the online payment.”
The notification also says, “Candidates are advised to raise an objection(s), if any, well before the final date and time i.e. 20-02-2019, 23:59 hrs after which no representation from the candidates on the questions/options/keys etc will be entertained.”
RRB Group D Exam 2018: The Railway Recruitment Board is likely to announce the results of the RRB Group D CBT exam soon. According to a report, the results will be declared in February. Candidates are requested to check the regional websites for the updates on the results. The RRB Group D CBT exam concluded on December 17, 2018.
Currently, there are over 63,000 vacancies at stake. After the declaration of the result for Group D CBT, the RRBs will conduct the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for all those candidates who have been shortlisted. On the basis of the merit in Group D computer-based test (CBT), selected candidates will be called for PET. After completion of the above PET process, RRBs will verify the documents and candidates would be called on the basis of their performance in CBT (only the PET qualifiers).
For PET, candidates will be required to lift and carry a weight of 20 kgs for 100 metres in 2 minutes without putting the weight down even once. Next, the candidate will need to cover a run for a distance of 1000 metres in 5 minutes and 40 seconds in one chance.

RRB will announce the dates for the RRB Group D PET later. Meanwhile, candidates who took up the RRB ALP 2nd CBT exam are awaiting answer key. The answer key is likely to be released this month, yet there is no official confirmation on the same.
UPSC IFS Cut-off 2018: The cut-off marks for the Indian Forest Service Exam (Main) 2018 has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
The candidates who appeared for the exam can now check the cut off marks of UPSC IFS exam 2018 on the official website- upsc.gov.in.

The UPSC IFS main examination was conducted between December 2 to December 10, 2018, to fill up 110 vacancies.
IGNOU Result December 2018: The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) declared the result for December 2018 term-end examinations (TEE). Students who had appeared for the exam may check their results on the official website- ignou.ac.in.
IGNOU had earlier released the TEE result for students who had applied for early results for December 2018 examination. The Open University had at that time released a notice informing students that the result for TEE December 2018 will be released by mid-February.

IGNOU has also released the result for the entrance exam for admission to B.Ed courses on its official website. The exam was held in December 2019. Selected candidates will be eligible to enrol for the B.Ed programme 2019.
AP DSC Merit List 2019: The AP DSC Merit List 2019 has been released by the Andhra Pradesh District Selection Committee (AP DSC). Candidates who had appeared for the examination are advised to check the official website- apdsc.apcfss.in. The merit list is available on the official website and can be downloaded by the candidates who appeared and qualified in the exam.
The AP DSC merit list has been released post-wise and zone or district-wise. The merit lists have been released for Residential School Music Teacher, Art and Drawing Teacher, and Craft Teacher, for Special School Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT), and for School Assistant posts with School Education department.

The AP DSC examination for TET and TRT and SGT recruitment began on December 24 and concluded on January 31, 2019. More than 7,000 vacancies were advertised under this recruitment.
New Delhi: The CBSE Board exams will begin from Friday (February 15). This time, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) would be conducting vocational subject exams first. All academic subject exams will be held in March.
Around 13 lakh students are set to appear for the CBSE Class 12 exam, while more than 18 lakh would be appearing for CBSE Class 10 exams.
This year, the CBSE is said to have made some changes in the question paper pattern foEr both Class 10 and 12 board exam, say reports. The board has increased objective type questions in the papers this year. Also, the number of options would also be higher.
A report said that in 2019 board exams, around 25 per cent questions will be objective type. In previous board exams, up to 10% of the questions were objective type.
More objective type questions would help students score better. Also, this year, students would have 33 per cent more question options to choose from.
This year, each question paper will be divided into sub-sections so that students can attempt the exam in a more systematic manner. All objective type questions will be in one section and then, there will be questions carrying more marks.
Last year, there was a furore over the leakage of Class 10 Maths and Class 12 Economics paper. So, the Board will track the centre superintendents who would collect “confidential material” via a mobile application.
This app will track the movement of centre superintendents, right from collection of question papers to reaching exam centres and opening packets.
Jaipur: Rajasthan’s interim budget comes as good news for nearly 2.3 lakh female students of the state. From 2019-20, girls enrolled in Arts, Commerce and Science streams for undergraduate or post-graduate courses will get free education.
The Congress government presented the vote-on-account of Rs 86,906 crore for the first four months of the current fiscal on Wednesday. As per the budget estimates, the total expenditure of the state stands at Rs 2,31,654 crore.
For the first time in the state, old farmers will be given pension. Women farmers above 55 years of age and male farmers above 58 will be eligible for the pension. Those below 75 years of age would get Rs 750 while those above 75 would be getting Rs 1,000.
The government has also announced 600 new drug centres under the Free Medicine Scheme. New medicines will be included in Mukyamantri Free Medicine Scheme.
Also, state-run drug testing laboratories at Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and Bikaner will be made functional.
Around 1.6 lakh youths would benefit from the Mukyamantri Yuva Sambal Yojna. The government has increased the allowances for the unemployed youth by up to five times. It comes into effect from February 2019, and beneficiaries will start getting allowances from March. Unemployed, eligible women will get Rs 3,500 and male would get a monthly allowance of Rs 3,000.
Reservation in government services for differently-abled people has also been increased from 3 per cent to 4 per cent.
The government has also put aside Rs 16 crore to reopen Haridev Joshi Journalism University and Dr BR Ambedkar Law University. And there is a new industries policy on the anvil. Rajasthan Export Promotion Council is to be set up in the state to enhance exports.
