JEE Main January 2020 Answer Key Released on Official Website at, Check How to Challenge

JEE Main January 2020: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2020 Answer Key for the month of January on its official website. Candidates who appeared for the nationwide test can check the answer key along with their OMR response sheets by visiting the JEE website –

The answer key will be available on the website from January 13 to January 15, 2020. Candidates can challenge the same and raise objections until the end of this week. In case, the NTA finds the raised objections incorrect, it will publish the JEE Main 2020 results. The tentative date for result declaration on January 31.

Here’s how to check or challenge the JEE Main 2020 Answer Key:

Step 2: Click on the link for ‘Answer Key’ as provided on the homepage.

Step 3: Enter the required details like registration number, date of birth/password, and the security captcha code. Click on ‘Sign in’.

Step 4: The answer key will be on your screen. Download it and take a print out for future reference.

JEE Main 2019: Paper II Analysis Reveals Questions Asking Full Forms For ISRO, NASA

JEE Main 2019: An analysis of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2019 Paper 2 has revealed that students were asked the full forms for ISRO and NASA in the aptitude section. A total of 1,80,052 candidates had registered for Paper II of JEE Main 2019.

The National Testing Agency that conducted JEE Main 2019 (Paper II for B. Arch/ B.Planning aspirants) on January 8 had the Mathematics and General Aptitude section in computer-based test mode while drawing test was in Pen and Paper, that is, offline mode. Each question was MCQ-based and according to students who appeared for the exam in Delhi NCR region, the full-forms were asked in the aptitude section of the JEE.

It must be noted that a few questions were repeated in this year’s Main Exam. The overall difficulty level of the paper was moderate. (Also Read: JEE Mains 2019 Begin Today; 11 Lakh to Sit For Exam on Day 1)

The first shift was conducted from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM while the second shift was from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM.

In the first shift, a total of 83 questions (Mathematics – 30, General Aptitude – 50 and Drawing – 3) were asked in Paper II of JEE Main 2019. Mathematics section saw an irregular distribution of questions. Almost 40 per cent questions were asked from CBSE Class 12 syllabus while 60 per cent questions were from CBSE’s Class 11 syllabus. According to the students who had appeared for the examination, the Drawing and General Aptitude sections were relatively easier.

In the second shift also students found a total of 83 questions (Mathematics – 30, General Aptitude – 50 and Drawing – 3) in Paper II of JEE Main 2019. The overall difficulty level of the exam was moderate according to most of the students. Students found the Mathematics section to be the toughest while General Aptitude to be the easiest section among the three.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the Optical Response Sheet (ORS) and official answer key JEE Main 2019 is over. Engineering aspirants who appeared for the exam may check the responses marked by them with the JEE Main Answer Key.

As per reports, JEE was conducted on time without any disruption under tight security provisions. At least 4,000 jammers were installed per shift and live CCTV feed was captured from each centre.
