Karnataka SSLC Result 2019: KSEEB Declares Result, 73.7 Per Cent Students Pass; Result to be Available Online After 12.45 PM



Karnataka SSLC Result 2019: The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) declared the Karnataka SSLC Result 2019 during a press conference on Tuesday, April 30 at around 12 PM. However, Karnataka SSLC result online portal will be active at 12:45 PM.

At least 73.7 per cent students have cleared the Karnataka SSLC exam this year. The SSLC result will be available on online portals such as– results.gov.inkarresults.nic.in. The Board announced the overall performance, pass percentage, topper’s score, gender-wise performance and district wise performance during the press conference.

Last year, the Karnataka SSLC result was declared on May 7. 71.93 per cent students had cleared the exam which was 4 per cent more than the performance in the 2016 annual SSLC exam.

A total of 8,25,468 students cleared the Karnataka SSLC result out of 8,41,666 students who took the examination.

Steps to check Karnataka SSLC Result 2019:

  • Visit the official websites-  results.gov.inkarresults.nic.in.
  • Click on the link that reads–‘Karnataka SSLC Result 2019’.
  • Enter the details required.
  • Click on submit.
  • Download and take a print out of the same for future use.

Students should check the entries made just after downloading their result. “Neither NIC nor the respective Board, Karnataka is responsible for any inadvertent error that may have crept in the results being published on NET. The results published on net are for immediate information to the examinees. These cannot be treated as original mark sheets. Original mark sheets have been issued by the Board separately,” reads the disclaimer on the Karnataka result portal.

The original mark sheet and pass certificates supporting the Karnataka SSLC result will be issued by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) immediately after the results are out.

Karnataka SSLC Result 2019: The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) will release the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) or Class 10th results on Tuesday, April 30. The Karnataka Board conducted the Class 10th annual examination March 24 to April 4. More than 8 lakh students had appeared for the KSEEB SSLC Results 2019.

Once the Karnataka SSLC results’ declaration, the Board will release the particulars of supplementary examination details for the candidates who have failed to qualify for higher education. The results will be released on karresults.nic.in and kseeb.kar.nic.in.

Apart from the official websites, the Karnataka SSLC results will also be hosted by a private portal like examresults.net.

Every year nearly 8.5 lakh students appear for the SSLC examination which is conducted in the months of March and April. The Board re-conducts the same examination (as supplementary or compartment) in the month of June for the benefit of the students who fail in main examinations. As many as 2.20 lakh students take the supplementary examination.

State Primary and Secondary Education Minister Tanveer Sait said the exams were conducted in a fair manner across the state. At least 2,187 examination centres were there for conducting the KSEEB Karnataka SSLC examination. Last year, the Karnataka SSLC results were declared on May 12 for which around 8.50 lakh students had appeared. Also, this year, the Karnataka Pre-University Examination Board released the second Pre-University Certificate (PUC) result 2018 on April 30. The Board had also asked exam centres to make proper arrangements for Persons With Difficulties (PWD) students this year. Officials were asked to conduct the Karnataka SSLC exam 2018 on the ground floor for such students.

From next year onwards, a separate examination board will be conducting the SSLC and second Pre-University state exams.

KSEEB SSLC Exam 2018: Class 10 Result to be Announced by First Week of May, Check at kseeb.kar.nic.in



Karnataka, April 8: The Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board (KSEEB) would announce the result for its Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) in the first week of May. The Class 10 examination result will be made available on the board’s official website- kseeb.kar.nic.in. The KSEEB SSLC which was held last month saw at least 8.5 lakh students appearing for the examination.

At least 2.73 per cent of students were absent in the examination, said KSEEB official while a total number of 51 students were debarred from the SSLC for cheating and other malpractices. State Education Minister Tanveer Sait said that the answer key would be uploaded on the official website- kseeb.kar.nic.in on April 8 and students having sort of objections could file their grievances between April 8 and 10.

Steps for checking KSEEB SSLC Results 2018:

Tanveer Sait also said that the results for the 2nd Karnataka Pre-University Certification (PUC) will be most probably be announced in the last week of April. The 2nd Karnataka PUC exam was held between March 1 and March 17 and saw at least 6.9 lakh students appearing for the examination.

About KSEEB:

As per the board’s official website, KSEEB was founded in 1966 and the number of students have been increasing since then. If the board’s record are to go by then a total of 10 lakh students collectively appear for the SSLC which is conducted twice- first in the month of April and then in the month of June. The board has taken various steps to improve its evaluation system so as to bring about a transparency in the results. KSEEB follows a set of objectives for improving the state of education; some of which are- introduction of new technologies, granting recognition to new high schools, maintaining proper arrangements in all of its examination centres among many others.
