IOCL Recruitment 2018: At least 58 vacancies for positions to Junior Operator Grade I and Junior Operator (Aviation) Gr. The eligibility criteria for the posts has also been given. JIPMER MBBS Admit Card 2018: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research, Puducherry (JIPMER) has released the admit card for the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) examination. Students may download their admit cards from the official website- jipmer.edu.in. The MBBS entrance examination will be conducted by JIPMER on June 3. The entrance exam will be held online and conducted in both single shift and double shift. The timings for the single shift would be from 10 am till 12:30 pm and the other shift timing will be 3 pm to 5:30 pm. It will be a two-and-a-half hour exam.

The merit list will be published on or before June 20. While the JIPMER MBBS 2018 first counselling is likely to be held from June 27 which will continue till September 28.
The registration process for the JIPMER examination had started from March 7 and ended on April 13. The duration of the MBBS course will be approximately 4 years and 6 months. It will be followed by a year of mandatory internship for getting the MBBS degree.

Puducherry, May 4: Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Puducherry, has once again established its position as one of the best institutes in training its students to crack one of the toughest exams in the country. This year, all the 23 students from JNV managed to clear IIT JEE (Mains). Adityaraj Singh Chouhan, who joined the institution in class 11, secured 1st position among the 23 candidates who sat for the IIT JEE (Mains). Chouhan scored 261 marks out of the maximum 360 marks and got All India Rank- 1043.
Last year, 20 students from JNV Puducherry cleared the IIT JEE (Main) while 11 of them managed to clear the advanced examination. In 2016, all 23 could sail through the Main examination, however, 16 of them cleared the advanced examination.
The students gave the credit of their success to an NGO called Avanti Fellows. The NGO offers two-year online coaching and training on the merit basis to students coming from the rural background. This online coaching facility in seven JNVs in Karnataka and Puducherry.
“Our students have been performing consistently in the last two or three years in the JEE main and advanced examinations. Each student who cleared the exam has a mentor from IIT Madras. The mentors visit the pupil once in a fortnight when they were in Class 12 and offer them valuable tips and guidance in clearing the exams,” JNV, principal B Venkateswaran told The Times of India.
