CSIR UGC NET Result 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to announce the result of the  Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) examinations on Tuesday, January 14. Candidates, who had given the examination can check their scores at the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in. once the results are declared. The result was earlier scheduled to be announced on December 31.

Notably, 2,82,116 candidates had applied for the recruitment examination which took place on December 15, 2019. It was conducted for chemical sciences, earth atmospheric ocean and planetary science, life science, mathematical sciences and physical sciences.  Those who will pass the CSIR NET will be eligible for research under junior research fellowship.

Step 3: Submit your registration number, roll number

Step 4: Results will appear on the screen

CSIR-UGC NET 2019 Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the final answer key of the CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test (NET) 2019. Candidates can access the final answer key on the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in.

The CSIR-UGC NET 2019 was conducted on December 15 at various exam centres across the country. The result of the exam is scheduled to be announced on January 14.

The result was earlier scheduled to be announced on December 31. However, the result date was postponed to January 14 due to the exam date being rescheduled to December 27 for Assam and Meghalaya only, due to tensions there over the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).

The provisional answer key was released after completion of the exam for all exam centres. Thereafter, objections were invited from candidates and the final answer key was prepared after the resolution of all the valid objections released.

UGC NET 2019 Result: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result of UGC-National Eligibility Test (NET) 2019. Candidates can check their result on NTA’s official website, i.e ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

UGC NET 2019 was conducted between December 2-6 through Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. A total of 10,84,732 candidates registered for the exam, out of which 7,93,813 appeared for the same. The exam was held at 700 centres across 219 cities.

Steps to check UGC NET 2019 Result:

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link ‘NTA Declares NTA December 2019 Result’

Step 3: Enter your registration number or password

Step 4: Check your result, which will appear on the display screen next

NET is conducted by the NTA on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC) to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the post of Assistant Professor only or Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor both, in Indian universities and colleges.

According to a notice on the NTA website, while 60,147 candidates have been qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor only, 5,092 qualified for and Assistant Professor both.

UGC NET Result 2019: The National Test Agency (NET) of UGC is set to release the results for UGC NET 2019 on Tuesday, December 31. Candidates who appeared for the UGC NET exam are requested to keep an eye out and check their results on the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

As many as 10,34,872 candidates appeared for the UGC NET exam 2019 that was conducted from December 2 to December 6 across 700 centres in 219 cities. A total of 81 subjects were covered in the course.

UGC NET Result 2019: NTA Likely to Announce Result Sooner Than Expected



UGC NET Result 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to release the result of National Eligibility Test (NET) 2019 sooner than expected. The scheduled date for the result to be announced, however, is December 31. Candidates can check their result, once it is announced on the official NTA website, i.e. ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The NTA had last week released the provisional answer key for the exam, which was held between December 2-6. The facility to check the result was available only till December 13, and the objection window was opened for the candidates for three-five days. For every objection, the candidates were required to pay a fees of Rs 2000.

The examination on the said date was conducted in two shifts, i.e 9:30 AM-12:30 PM and 2:30 PM-5:30 PM. Both exams were computer-based test (CBT) mode and consisted of objective, multiple-choice questions (MCQs).

A total of 10.5 lakh candidates appeared for UGC NET 2019 Exam. It was conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for the post of Assistant Professor only, or Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor both, in Indian universities and colleges.

Candidates who have appeared for the exam need to keep on checking the official website to get any detail about the result.

NTA NET Admit Card: The admit card for UGC NET 2018 also known as NTA NET has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on the official website- ntanet.nic.in and nta.ac.in. The admit card may be downloaded until the examination day. The UGC NET exam will be held for a period of five days– from December 2018 to December 22. The exam will be held in two shifts.

The exact date and shift for each subject that has been chosen by the candidate will be notified on the NTA NET Admit Card.

“In case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate including photograph and signature are shown in the Admit Card and Confirmation Page, the candidate may immediately approach the Help Line between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. between 19.11.2018 to 25.11.2018,” said the release.

“In such cases, candidates would appear in the examination with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make a correction in the record later,” the statement added

UGC NET to be Held Between December 9 to 23 This Year, Registration to Start FRom September 1



New Delhi: The UGC NET will be conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) between December 9 and 23 this year. The NTA has released its schedule for the same. NTA will be holding the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) along with other exams- JEE Main, CMT, NEET (UG) and GPAT.

The eligibility criteria for the ones who would like to appear for the examination this December will be 55 per cent marks in their masters or equivalent examination from a UGC-recognised institute. However, only 50 per cent marks would be required for OBC, SC and ST to sit for the exam.

The UGC NET paper will consist of two objective-type question papers and each question will carry two marks. Paper-I will be general in nature which would assess the teaching and/or research aptitude. While Paper-II will be conducted on the respective subject selected by the candidate. The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours and will be for 300 marks.

Candidates may check the list of important dates needed to be kept in mind for the UGC NET 2018.

CBSE conducted its last UGC NET on July 8. The NET exam is conducted twice a year and the HRD ministry has decided to continue with the same. NTA will be conducting the first UGC NET in December. It must be noted that the candidates who qualify for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) will be able to pursue research in their respective postgraduate subjects and are also eligible for the post of Assistant Professor.

JEE Main, NEET, UGC (NET), CMAT And GPAT Exam Date Declared



New Delhi, Aug 21: The government on Tuesday announced the dates for JEE Main I, JEE Main II, CMAT and GPAT, NEET (UG), and UGC (NET), which will be conducted by the National Testing Agency, the Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry announced on Tuesday.

According to the notification issued by the government, the UGC (NET) exam will be held from December 9, 2018 to December 23, 2018 and the results will be announced on January 10, 2019.

Candidates applying for UGC (NET) December 2018 can register themselves online from September 1 2018 till September 30, 2018 on the Commission’s official website https://www.ugcnetonline.in/.

The JEE Main-I exam will be conducted from January 6, 2019 to January 20, 2019 and the results for the same will be announced on January 31, 2019.

The registration process for JEE Main-I will begin on September 1, 2018 and will conclude on September 30, 2018. Candidates can download their admit cards from December 17, 2018 onwards.

The JEE Main-II exam will be held from April 6, 2019 to April 20, 2019 and the results will be announced on April 30, 2019. Candidates applying for the engineering entrance exam can register themselves from February 8, 2019 till March 7, 2019. The admit cards will be available for downloading from March 18, 2019.

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) and Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) are scheduled to be held on January 28, 2019 and the results for the same will be declared on February 10, 2019.
The registration process for both the exams will begin from November 1, 2018 till November 30, 2018 on the official websites — http://www.aicte-cmat.in/ and http://www.aicte-gpat.in/

The NEET (UG) exam will be held May 5, 2019 and the results will be announced on June 5, 2019. The online registration process will begin on November 1, 2018 and conclude on November 30, 2018 on the official website https://cbseneet.nic.in/cbseneet/Welcome.aspx.

National Testing Agency to Conduct NEET, JEE Main Twice a Year From 2019, Announces HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar



New Delhi, July 7: Union HRD Minister Prakash Javadekar on Saturday announced that the national level engineering and medical entrance examinations – JEE Main and NEET – will be conducted twice a year from 2019 in online mode and the best score will be considered for admission.  Addressing a press conference today, Javadekar stated that the newly formed examination conducting agency National Testing Agency (NTA) will held the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main and National Eligibility cum Entrance Examination (NEET), UGC NET and CMAT exams. At present, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is responsible for organising JEE Mains and NEET examinations.

“These examinations will be conducted on multiple dates. National level engineering examination JEE Main  will be held in January and April while medical entrance examination NEET will be conducted in February and May,”Javadekar added.

The minister however said that the syllabus, question format, language and fees for the competitive exams won’t change. “These examinations will use highly secured IT software and encryption to ensure delivery of tests just in time. This will ensure no leakages and other malpractices,” a press release by the ministry said.

“NTA will establish a network of test practice centres for students of rural areas so that everyone will have an opportunity to practice before the exam. Schools/engineering colleges with computer centres would be identified and kept open on Saturday/Sunday starting from 3rd week of August. Any student can use the facility free of charge,” it added.
